I liked this book and found it pretty interesting as a mixture of business history and character biography. However, the tone annoyed me in its constant superlatives. I assume it was meant to be a call-out to Golden Age comics, but I was just left preferring more detail and less gushing golly-gee wonder tone. I expected to like it more based on the subject. Mostly it made me want to re-read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay.
