I loved the book. Every man and woman needs to beware of Charles D. Martin's heroine, Nadia. Her current hunting ground is California among the rich and famous. She is sexy, intelligent (very), beautiful (very), educated and cultured. She knows what she wants, and Olga, her teacher, added the final touches to her education. This is another powerful woman from Russia...... reminds me Catherine the Great....she too knew how to charm a man, subdue him, and the cream on the cake was when she bedded him. After reading this book, you will want to keep your man close. Martin flatters the female sex with this book. His tale is developed slowly and demonstrates the tenacity of women..... not the clinging-vine type of woman, nor the stay-at-home-Mom, but that lean and lethal female which you might just run into one day....if you are lucky.
