I have no idea why Meyer thought it was a good idea to rewrite Twilight from Edward's POV. The whole point of writing different POVs is to portray characters that believably come across as different - Bella, Jacob and Edward all sound like the same person. I'm probably in the minority but I'll be glad if this is never published fully.
