Lysander Rief has travelled from Britain to Vienna for a new type of treatment- psychoanalysis, to treat his personal ailments. Unbeknownst to him a chance meeting in Herr doctor’s office sets the wheels of fate in motion. Circumstances take Lysander from Vienna, to Italy, and Britain where he thinks his troubles are over. Rumors of discord and war become reality as World War I breakouts and Lysander is called upon to serve his country as a way to repay a “debt”. And so begins his journey through war-time romances, blackmail, lies, espionage and the unknown landscape that is the human psyche. “Waiting For Sunrise” is a mesmerizing, literary thriller!
