As I said in my review of Hell on Wheels, this is a terrific new romantic suspense series by a talented author. Halfway through the first book, I was addicted and couldn’t wait to read about Frank and Becky. I love the older man/younger woman stories and this one totally worked. Becky is tough and has great taste in music. You get the backstory on how the Special Ops team got together and used Becky’s motorcycle shop as its cover. Just like the first book, it had plenty of action, romance, laughs, and pop culture references and quick and witty dialogue. I pointed out the writing style reminds me of Joss Whedon’s, my personal hero. This book can be read before the first one, but you don’t want to miss Hell on Wheels.
