Read in July, 2012

I thought the author did a fabulous job combining soft-core science fiction and young adult material.

I do not care for hard-core science fiction so this book was perfect for me.

I did not read any previous reviews on this book, and as usual, first time authors tend to impress me more than "seasoned" authors.

I definately related to Julie who is an only child going through the awkward ages trying to fit it with her peers and coping with her family life. I wanted to wrap my arms around the young girl and give her a soft place to fall.

Julie is the storyteller and the story she has to share is pretty interesting. The earth has suddenly begun to slow it's rotation and as to be expected, life has to change to accomodate the new normal.

I read this book in one day and hope to read more by this author in the near future.
