There are so many characters in this book that I had to write a list of them to keep track – I think I got up to 20! I’m not sure the basic premise works – a psychopath who thinks his mobile phone ‘Peach’ (geddit? Apple, Blackberry, Orange?) is a god, giving him instructions. Why does a loner psychopath even have a mobile phone in the first place? And the myriad characters are all basically horrible, so I didn’t really care if they all ended up dead.
