Although many of you may know my love for Sailor Moon and Fruits Basket, this is actually my first venture into graphic novels. I saw this in the new shelf of the YA section of my library, and it looked extremely familiar. Maybe Dannymarksya reviewed it? Since reading Sharp Objects, I've been going through a bit of a reading slump, and I thought this would be just the thing to get me out of it.

You can read goodread's summary above, but overall, I thought this was quite an imaginative albeit predictable story. I think we have all heard the tale of a camp for children that is not what it seems where everyone but the outcasts are capable of seeing the truth. Parts of this book were downright revolting, but I thought that aspect of the book was actually the best part. WHO thinks of that? ahhh! It makes my brain hurt and stomach churn.

Unfortunately, except for that aspect, I thought it was quite predictable, but it was a quick, enjoyable, disgusting read, so if you have a couple hours free, I would say give it a go :)
