I've never been a huge fan of crime novels or "whodunits" as my grandma would call them. But this novel was quite different. Set in the far future and containing some pretty astounding scientific advances I found myself more engaged than I anticipated. I really loved the overall concept of the book and some of the social commentary throughout. The book could've been just as interesting without some of the bedroom scenes and language. But, overall, I found the story enough to reconsider my stance on whodunits.

Jeff I loved this book, a great genre bending story. Read the other 2 also, They both star Takashi but one is a war story/hiest, and the other is a more sci fi adventure. Thirteen is another good book of his, but I would skip his fantasy series, it was interesting but not a good read.
