Just like the Crypts and the Bloods when a member of the original Krew of Hunters and the Texas Krew has to work a case together, they are bound to but heads. Kat just finished the Unholy case about ancient Egyptian Amun Mopat and has been sent to Chicago because someone has finally found the sunken ship Jerry McGuen where Amun Mopat’s sarcophagus has laid for decades. Will was already in Chicago when people started dying presumably because of a curse on the sarcophagus. But is a curse really to blame, a ghost, or just an ordinary man? The bigger question, can Kat and Will solve the case without killing each other? This is a great companion to the rest of the Texas Krew books.
