I really loved the premise, which lent itself for some great side stories spun from the perspective of the "visible man." That said, the therapist (main character) is flat. She is overpowered -- both in the story and its execution -- so that we, as readers, are the ones with no skin between us and the "visible man." I would like to think this is by design, but I feel that it was simply poorly developed characters. It is, however, worth a read. Just skim the parts where the therapist is thinking about herself and her flat life.

p.s. You should read this anyway, because Klosterman is a creative genius.
