In this sixth installment of the Sisters Grimm series, Samantha and Daphne and their family attempt to save Mr. Canis, who has been accused of murdering Red Riding Hood's grandmother and is being tried by the Mad Hatter and a jury filled with members of the Scarlet Hand.
Like the other books in the series, this one was filled with fairy tale characters (or Everafters, as they're known to the Sisters) and is a fast, fun read. We get some background on Mr. Canis and Red Riding Hood, and at the end, move closer to resolving the spell placed on the girls' parents. More than any of the other books, this one requires having read the previous. I think this is the penultimate book of the series and I'm definitely looking forward to the final book.
