I have to admit, hero comics are not my usual cup of tea. But I dived into the Batman genre last year with Arkham Asylum (which was pretty cool), and here I am again. No, I'm not a Batman comics expert. So it was fun to encounter the myriad villains in The Long Halloween, as well as an origin story for Two-Face, flirtations with Catwoman, and the stalwart Alfred. Plus, memories of Batman's father. I'll admit, the art didn't particularly grab me. But it was a rollicking and twisting ride.
