The first half of the book was kind of slow, but now I am getting more and more drawn in. It is beautiful writing, too.

This was a very well-written story, and while I respect McCarthy's ability, I was not particularly moved or drawn in by the story. I found his tone and the affect of the book really dry. I am a little more into emotive and emotive fiction. This was not that... this was more like Hemingway with restraint and subtlety. I respected it, but it was not love.
