A very comprehensive look at Julia Child's live. I particularly enjoyed learning about how she met Paul and her time working for the OSS in WWII. I used to hate cooking and thought I couldn't be good at it, but after I found out that Julia started out as a bad cook, I figured I could get better too. She lived an amazing life!

I'm obsessed with Julia Child. So happy to find something else to read.

She was such an interesting woman! I really enjoyed My Life in France. I read it after seeing Julie and Julia. I kind of hated the Julie parts, but loved the Julia half. It also sparked an interest in cooking that I never had before.
There is also a collection of letters between Avis(last name escapes me) and Julia which I loved. Interesting to read about her life in her own words. I fell in love with both of them. Lately, I've been bogged down with literary fiction. I think I'm going to take a break and read something fun! This sounds perfect...
I saw the book about their letters when I was looking up Mastering the Art of French Cooking. I've never flipped though it so I wanted to see the book that put Julia Child on the map. I'm not sure I want to try and make anything out of it yet though. I'll have to get the letters book. Good to know that you enjoyed it.
