I can't remember the last time I got so much value from a book. I find myself talking about this all the time, encouraging others to read it.

Learned Optimism is a great book--not light reading. It is written for lay audiences, but takes a scientific approach to help people really master the message of optimism.

The first two thirds of the book provide a thorough study of optimism and depression. The final third is a how-to guide to being more optimistic.

Whether you are suffering from depression or just want to be more optimistic (optimists are more successful) you can will find what you need in this book.
