Usually by this point I get annoyed with the obvious formula in a series, but even though the formula in the Psy-Changeling series can get a little old, I’m still completely engrossed in these books. I love the members of the DarkRiver pack so as each book starts I’m already totally attached to the men, the women on the other hand I usually have to grow to like. In this book, I liked Talin instantly. I think part of that is because she isn’t Psy, so there isn’t that cold, unfeeling personality to get through. Talin was in Clay’s face from the beginning and she called him on his crap which was nice; reminded me a lot of Breanna with Judd.

I really enjoy these books and the Psy still enmeshed in Silence kinda scare the crap out of me. I love that we get to see characters from previous books throughout each of the subsequent books. It’s nice to know that those that I become attached to still have a major part in the overall arc of the series. I can’t wait to continue on with the series.
