I have listened to or read all of the books in this series and just adore them! I listened to many of the Recorded Books versions and now have the delightful reader's voice in my head permanently. The reader has such a cheerful and charming accent! I read this book and could still hear her voice. And the characters feel like family that you know and love. This was a wonderful story of African life which contained several mysteries and suspenseful situations. Will innocent Falwell go to jail for a crime he didn't commit? Will Mma Potokwane leave the orphanage forever? Will Mma Makutsi and her beloved Phuti Radiphuti be swindled out of their dream house? Do yourself a favor and pick up this book to find out!
