really liked it
bookshelves: translated
Read from July 19 to 23, 2012

I picked this up because it had an introduction by Toby Litt, one of my favourite living British authors, and because the protagonist writes 'weird animal stories' as a hobby. It's funny, sad and philosophical, and should be compulsory reading for all bored and lonely thirtysomethings who don't like their jobs and/or aren't getting enough sex. Practically all of us, then.
