Reading this book really pissed me off for two reasons:
1) I was pissed this book didn't exist when I was 13-18. As a frequent (though not serial) dumpee, it would've helped me get through HS.
2) I was pissed I didn't write it. Before I decided to become a period, there was a brief flirtation with creative writing. In the two years I wrote regularly, I wrote two things I'm proud of: a road trip story, and one about getting my heart broken. This book combined both.

The Fault in Our Stars is a better book, but this won resonated way more and won me over. Highly recommended to anyone who has even been dumped. Bonus points if, you two, ended up with a Lindsey ;).
