Albert of Adelaide

What an odd book. In the end, I skimmed a great part of it. While calling seating 'bleachers' in an outback context jarred, it was not the only Americanism - the whole 'wild west' scenario was the same so why use Australian animals and the Australian outback? Disappointing in the end. And, not a female character in sight.

Hmmm. I had to skim this book to the end. Not my sort of thing reaally, Australian animals roaming the Australian outback with American an American imagination. Too twee for words. The title is catchy but, there are no bleachers in Australia!!!
