This is a good book for finding classic children's books. It stirs up memories of books already read to suggesting books one has never heard of before. I editors are British so the books are from a European perspective. It introduces an American reader to books not familiar on this continent. The guide does provide many American books too. I use the book for my career in education as well as a coffee table book at home. It is fun to peruse through at leisure. The entries are short, the paper is glossy and illustrations are colorful just a good children's book should be. Very nice book.
