I seem to be reading a lot of nice, nonfiction animal stories lately. I recall a friend mentioning this book a couple of years ago, and lo and behold it was on the staff picks shelf at the library last week.

A delightful, funny story about Christopher Hogwood, the runt among runts, who was too small to survive yet was adopted by Sy Montgomery and her husband, and lived a full, rich life. Love the stories about his escapades, how many friends he had, pig spa and all the love he brought to everyone around him. Cute photos too. Montgomery focuses on the pig and only briefly mentions the other animals she's studied during her travels, but I have a feeling I will be intrigued by her other books.
