This story was a quick read, the storyline flowed well and was easy to follow, even if it was a potpourri of EVERYTHING you could possible fit into one book. You had:
• Quilting
• Ponzi schemes
• Loss of faith
• Growing a garden
• Ghosts
• Native American elements
• Single motherhood
• Recovering alcoholics
• Estranged families
• Sisterly bonding
• Pilgrimages
• Angels
• Feeding the poor
• Horrific child killing
• Spirituality

I think everyone in our book club enjoyed the book and we had some good discussion. But this really was not the story I thought it was going to be based on the description we were initially given.
