This is a really incredible story. An inner city kid who lacks motivation and has ugly anger issues overcomes all with his mother's help and by God's grace. He goes to Yale and becomes an amazing neurosurgeon who tackles complex surgeries most doctors wouldn't even attempt.

I'm giving it only 4 stars because of the writing. It's in first person and can come across as a bit boastful at times. I don't think Ben Carson is like that, I blame it simply on the occasional poor wording.
I don't really mind it though, for when someone is that brilliant at what he does, I don't really feel like he has to be a brilliant writer on top of it all. ;)
