Not my favotite book by a longshot. I may even delete it from my Kindle, which is usually reserved for those books I will never read again. I did enjoy a totally different take on the end of the world scenarios I have been reading. For the price I paid I am money ahead, even after springing for the sequel. I thought the main character was wishy washy. Couldn't make up his mind (you will see why). One secondary character should have been shot halfway through the book if you take the survivalist theory on TEOTWAWKI life which is any extra mouths are taking food out of our mouths. As pointed out in this book, the Christian view would be to turn the other cheek. So he lives. Those things aside it is a good read. I did buy the sequel. I did have trouble putting the book down.
