bookshelves: currently-reading

I opened the book and read from the first page, and the lyrical prose carried me to the counter, where I saw myself take out my wallet and purchase it. What revelation lies ahead, I cannot say.

Well, I still cannot say... For now, I have put this book back on my shelf--apologies to Mr. Bradbury. While the writing was phenomenal, the story, more behind the scenes than anything, could not easily be retold to my boys. And as of late, I have been really enjoying waking up and retelling them what occurred in the previous night's chapter.

So Robert Louis Stevenson won out again and, Mr. Bradbury, your book was "Kidnapped" by my shelf, to be rescued some time in the future, though exactly when I cannot say.
