A graphic novel memoir about Satrapi's childhood growing up during the Iranian revolution. Interesting in that is goes through a lot of very intensely upsetting material in a matter of fact way. Can't decide if that makes the pain more manageable or minimizes what should not be glossed over. It covers 4 years of her childhood from 10- 14 years old.
