Read from July 01 to 11, 2012 , read count: Once

"Beauty Never Dies" is Peter Pan's story of how he woke up his one true love, Sleeping Beauty. It seems that Peter along with the assistance of The Hunchback of Notre Damme raised Count Dracula from the dead with the expectation he would be able to wake his darling, Sleeping Beauty.

However, before they can raise her, Peter is visited by the Queen of Sorrow or the Evil Stepmother. She wants him to help her identify 7 items of dinnerware in an attempt to discover the identities of the Lost Seven (those who have assisted Snow White). Pete likes to mess with the Queen and uses humor in his responses to her. He is asked to tell her who the owner of a plate, glass, knife, fork, piece of wood, bread crumbs, and magic beans. He doesn't really care whether she locates the people or not. All he wants is to bring back his darling love.

Once Peter gets the Queen to depart, he sets about getting Dracula to awaken Sleeping Beauty by biting her. Dracula is in for more than he bargain for because Sleeping Beauty is not so peaceful once she is awake. When she does wake, she falls into the arms of her beloved Peter and we, the reader discover who her alternative identity really is.

This installment is cleverly written and links the events of book 2 in a nice way. It was much better written than book 2 and entices the reader's curiosity in knowing who Snow White really is. I cannot wait for the first book in the series to be out and finally get a complete story.
