really liked it
bookshelves: existentialism
Recommended for: people who can stomach depression
Read in August, 2003

This is a dark, depressing story. But then, coming from Camus, that's no surprise. It was hard for me to read because I became so involved with the misery of the characters that I began to act as though I were a character myself. I had to take short breaks to read something light or silly in order to finish the book. It is a really good book, but like I said, not an easy one to read.
