I had the "Bella Fortuna" to win this book in a Goodreads First Reads giveaway. It was an enjoyable read: what woman doesn't get a kick out of living (or re-living her wedding(s)) though the process of choosing exactly the right wedding dress? Designing those dresses at her family's exclusive New York shop the Sposa Rosa is what Valentina DeLuca does for a living. But things don't go so smoothly for her own wedding. Determined to hold onto at least part of her dream, Valentina sets off for Venice on her own, where her heart is healed in the most unexpected way.

I just wish more of the book had taken place in Venice. Valentina doesn't even arrive there until two thirds of the way through. I was hoping for more expansive descriptions of Venice, a truly magical city, the perfect place for romance.
