The title of the book already explains the plot by itself. It tells the story of girl who is raped by a school friend and how she deals with it afterwards. It's not explicit about the rape, it's more about how she got to that moment and specially how her life changes after it. The story was disturbing because it sounded so real, her reactions and those of her family and friends seem so real. However, it was not so touching as it could have been because I didn't feel really close to the main character.
The writing was correct and the story is worth reading it. I think it's importante to create awareness about this kind of stories that sadly are not unusual, and however I feel they're a little bit like a taboo in young adult literature.
