it was amazing

Don't be put off by the voice if the first-person narrator, he irritated me at first but I grew to love him. Southern Gothic is my thing, and this was very atmospheric--you could practically hear the tinkle of ice cubes melting in the sweet tea. Sling Blade meets The Lovely Bones. Great summer reading!
