This is an interesting story, although I have absolutely no background in which to evaluate the research that is presented. It provides an alternative hypothesis to Diamond's theories about the collapse of the peoples that lived on Easter Island. I would recommend this book, as I found it interesting and enjoyable, but again, I will not vouch for the veracity of the claims, as it is outside of my expertise.
