I really liked Morgan and Jean. They found themselves while struggling with scandals in their past. Jean and her sister Catroina became maids in Morgan's family home after their physician father helped her mother to die. Morgan came home after divorcing his wife. Throw in a haunted castle and you have a wonderful story.
I love reading Karen Ranney's books. She writes stories with depth and believable characters that make me want to know what they are doing long after the story ends.
