In a word, terrific, although I have to admit to finding the opening chapters a little confusing, and I also found it difficult to believe that a Nazi interrogator would let his prisoner ramble on in hopes of gaining some useful intelligence. This aside, I found the characters engaging and likable, the plot enthralling, and the ending moving.
