I was really excited to start this book. I have always felt so clueless about tipping, and never knew what & who were supposed to be tipped outside of sit-down restaurants. After listening to this book, I feel much better informed, but at the same time, upset. I understand that many of the professions rely on tipping to make a living, but if they expect it, why not go out and outright say what is expected! I think it is incredibly unfair to assume everyone knows who is supposed to be tipped what percentage for which level of service. Its overwhelming! At least I now feel like I know the "true cost" of services, but to be honest, this book just made me want to avoid all places that require tips!
