This novel came highly recommended to me by a number of friends, so I was eager to read it. It proved to be a highly engaging novel about sibling relationships in the wake of a family tragedy. Mary Lawson is an astute observer of small-town Ontario life, and the portrait she paints of the northern Ontario wilderness made the book an even more enjoyable read. Highly recommended.
