Underneath all those words, it's just a Harlequin Romance plot. But, oh, those words.

Kristina i'm curious how you'll like this. I gave up on James a few years ago, but maybe I should try again...

Robin I have been reading The Bostonians for years. That is no joke. It fits in my bag and is a go-to on subways. I started reading Roderick Hudson at recording for the blind, and while it is James all the way (3 pages to say "she was pale") there is a story emerging that is a nice twist on the Ingenue Takes the Tour plot. What if the ingenue were a boy? I'll let you know.

I can't get through Jane Austen with a chef's knife. any tips?
