Lost Girls is set in 1970's where a group of girls are stranded in an island, with not many survival materials. This island is very dangerous with sudden weather changes and wild animals. The boat that was supposed to come save them is ruined and reaches them in pieces.

The story is told from fourteen-year-old Bonnie's point of view. The reader gets to see her change from a younger self to a more determined person. She grew during the story and I loved to read about her. There are some really crazy circumstances and I think Bonnie and her friends , some of them, handles them really good!

The story also had short entries from Bonnie's diary which made things more exciting. Ann's writing was realistic and it felt like I was there with the girls. I really recommend this book to anyone who loves adventures!
