I have always wondered how polygamy could possibly work, or how it did work back in "olden times." This book gives a great picture of how a modern-day family makes it work for them-without all the incest and abuse that hits the media so often. It saddened my heart to read about how many of the people involved in the story had turned away from truths that I personally believe in, and I don't believe in their religious convictions, however I can respect their dedication to what they think is right. And appreciate the courage it took to tell their story.
