really liked it
bookshelves: picture-book, to-grade

Reading Level: Primary

This is a great story about sharing. The pigeon does not want to share his hot dog, but will the duckling convince him to.

This picture book is an excellent example of using typeface to aid in creating emotion and feeling from the characters in the story.

Junko Be sure to also read the original pigeon book, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus.

Laura I have read these both to my class and I think the over the top message is really important for early learners. I agree the sharing aspect is so clear and although the pigeon is so silly, the kids get he message loud and clear. I love anything by Mo Willems.
