Much of my professional life is spent worrying about hackers' attempts to thwart the banking industry's online security hurdles. I don't mean to be an alarmist but, after reading this book by a former security advisor to the Reagan, Bush, and Clinton administrations, I'm wondering whether or not I shouldn't be more concerned about the integrity of our energy grid, air traffic, and transportation systems. Clarke's resume certainly supports the credibility of his arguments, although I suppose that makes me feel worse - not better - about the subject. Oh, well, it's better than burying one's head in the sand.
