This book started with a bang and then just kept on going. There were even some points where it was so detailed and intense I wanted to cry. In true Artemis fashion there were of course parts that also had me laughing out loud, although not near as many as in previous books, but being the 'final battle's I was perfectly okay with that.

I wasn't over in love with the ending but I didn't hate it by any means. There is always something new introduced in the books and sometimes they take some getting used to, I didn't care for the demons at first either but I learned to love no. 1.

Holly, as always was totally awesome; Artemis was back to his old self, well sort of; Myles and Beckett won me over; and Opal was so evil she made Attic Incident Opal look like a sweetheart who hands out candy.

I'm sad to see the series end but it's been a fun ride. I read this whole thing in one evening, unable to pit it down and I think it was a great way to end the journey.
