This book got me through the longer part of our trip (Paris to Marseilles to Toulon to Corsica), and I finished it last night when we first reached Florence. While not as good as the other two Singer books I read, there was a great deal of symbolism and mysticism I enjoyed in this particular Singer.

Rhonda... I hope everything at work is good and I did not screw anything up too terribly before I left. Thanks again to you and everyone for covering and I will see you next week. Say hello to all for me! Oh, and I have not thrown anyone from a train window yet... but I have been close. :)
