I can see this as a movie if they choose the right ensemble of women. It is a convergence of strangers brought together in grief. Together these 4 women discover themselves again and begin to climb out of their old lives and establish new ones. It is a great story about compassion for others, self discovery, stepping out of your comfort zone. Basically it is about taking charge of your own life and your own destiny. As women we often get stuck and don't have the courage to want more or to fulfill our dreams. This group of women together help each other discover new beginnings. Good summer read also good women's book club read.
