I love the Sigma series! I look forward to each book every summer, and they are such a wild ride! The last one 'The Devil Colony', was the best yet so I was very eager with high expectations for the latest book, 'The Bloodline'... And maybe thats why I was a bit disappointed in it... I enjoyed it. I am so invested in these characters after 8 books, and loved the development in this book. Tons of action which was very intense... It answered a lot of questions which was satisfying... But i didn't love the subject matter as much this time... Each book explores historical and scientific topics and conspiracy theories... This is what makes these books SO interesting... The subject matter was a bit lacking for me... Not as much there. Which was unfortunate because the rest of the story was awesome! Still a food read, and I am still excited for the series to go on!
