A detailed timeline of events of the Titanic's maiden voyage pieced together from careful research and told through the voices of survivors and witnesses. Included are many photos both of the ship and the aftermath. Back matter includes an impressive array of inforation such as a glossary, bios on the passengers mentioned in the book, bios on famous Titanic passengers not mentioned in text, survivor letters, a timeline, facts and figures, websites/questions for further research, excerpts from the British Wreck Commissioner's final report, a chart listing the details of how the lifeboats were launched, stats on who lived and died on the Titanic, and a selected bibliography.

This is the most complete story of Titanic I've read to date. This would be a great book for beginners and self-proclaimed Titanic experts alike. I am so impressed with this book, it's a must read on this subject.
