really liked it
bookshelves: erotica, modern-day-romance, chick-lit
Read from June 25 to 28, 2012

This was the second erotica book I read for my book club. What an about face!

Honestly, reading this book is like reading a porno. Wave the fan y'all when you sink into this book. Oh boy!

However, despite the unbridled lust and in your face sex, I loved how Rand was part of Rachel's journey in helping her find her groove back and then some. Her ex-husband was such a schmuck. To be a woman who gave up everything for her ohana, dedicating her life to them, and then being left in the dust for a younger woman? I loved every bit how she dove into her job and tried to expand her horizons within the company. When faced with a challenge, a hardcore mum does what she has to do to support her babies. Rising to the occasion can open doors not only in a professional arena but to one's self-discovery.

I found her struggles between the mom image and being a woman with healthy wants and needs authentic. The behavior of her sons were believable and entertaining.

This book was all about Rachel and Jasmine Haynes really stuck to that and supported it throughout the story. The end certainly had twists for me and was well done.
