really liked it

Oh, so that's what a life coach does! I had wondered. Laporte takes her varied life experiences, including running a think tank, starting companies, being a Mom, attending a White House function with purple hair highlights, as well as readings from a variety of self-help books, poetry, song lyrics, and more, and provides exercises to help the reader live life to the fullest. I liked the references to a variety of sources and the worksheets she provided, and although they mostly felt familiar that was OK given the integration of sources she uses. She does have a distinctive voice in her writing, and that really comes out in the first part of the book. Her "edge" becomes less pronounced in later chapters, and they seem a bit less exciting because of it. I did find it a little repetitive, but a fun and quick read.
